MAC's modesty

I made a discovery yesterday, I'm probably so late but one I my new fave lipsticks is MAC's modesty... It's the perfect pinky nude I have been looking for... I'm experimenting a lot more with make up now, my favourite things to play with are lipsticks and modesty, after just one day is very close behind my mac lipgloss powder pink. I love it! We finally have a sunny day in London so I took the liberty of adding a synthetic piece to my hair to make it a long plait. Even though I don't like long hair on me I do like a long plait, try it guys...

Arosci Update (2 months)

Here is the second part to how Tola got on with the arosci treatment. I think I may do a video for the keratin treatment as many have questions and I have the answers as I do a lot of keratin blow drys in the salon and get to see the results. Enjoy the video:

Here's to another year

Another year another birthday, I think I am kind of numbed as to how quickly the last year has gone, I woke up this morning and felt grateful to see another day and being thankful for another year.... I celebrated yesterday (sunday) at jamies italian with the girls as i wanted to catch up with them... everyone has been too busy and I just wanted to see their pretty faces. I left for work this morning to enjoy my birthday with a full head of bouncy curls, but by 2.30 I had straight-ish hair not even loose beach waves due to the weather, still enjoyed my day.

New hair: Sensationnel Remi Select

I love hair that looks like its good quality hair, I don't care if it's Remi, virgin (whatever grade) or your standard human hair as long as it looks good and well managed, I am involved. Last time I did a weave I had relaxed hair and always had a leave out, I used Remi goddess and Remi Valentine. Goddess was too silky at first and had to wash it at least 3 times before I felt that the texture was good enough and still I sometimes felt that it didn't, it shed like a mother and got thinner near the end of its course. Valentine (i used for my bobs) was thicker and matched my hair but was also shed, less than Goddess but is so hard to find sometimes! This time round I decided to go for a closure that looked as natural as possible, I used Remi Select for the weave installation as I have been recommending it to a few clients due to its good reputation, so far I do like it...It may be a lucky pack but there is NO shedding so far, the texture is good and it's cheaper (you can get it for as cheap as £18.99 for a 10" pack) on average it's about £25 and I advise it for those that aren't ready for the virgin "ian" hair (Peruvian, malaysian, Cambodian etc) or even Remi goddess , trying their first weave or just want tracks. I will do a more thorough review when I am ready to take it out but so far I like .

On the closure subject I just didn't want any leave out and I wanted to see my parting, I didn't want an invisible part as I feel like they are not as natural, needless to say I love the finish and since a full fringe refuses to suit me no matter how many times I try to inject it in life, a sweeping fringe/bang is always a favourite.

Hair update!

Since taking my hair out of the braids a few weeks ago, my hair was not agreeing with me, I don't know whether it was because it has reached an awkward length but it just didn't look the same anymore. As a result I plait my hair about three/four times a week before going to bed so that my hair can have more texture. The plaits take me about 5 mins if not less and I am back in like with it, plus I like that the plaits stretch it out a bit so it looks like a decent length.

Hair series: cute crop

Did a short do on my client this week, she has thick hair so i took out some of the weight at the back to give it more shape and curled the front for a different look. She also reminds me of Gabrielle Union...just me? ok
